At the Mariposa, the mesquite trees are covered in doves. Our hunts primarily hunt over the water holes late in the afternoon when the birds need to drink. If you are a crack shot - we’ve seen limits in under 15 minutes

Argentina Style Dove Hunts in South Texas…

In the fall and winter, the Mariposa Ranch holds thousands of doves. Everywhere you look, the power-lines, the mesquite trees, the watering holes have hundreds of doves. We maintain 20 different dove holes across the ranch. And the best part is that come afternoon every night, all the doves come into our watering holes.

We’ll drive you to your spot for the afternoon and then the doves will start to come in when they need to water. The shooting will pick up and you’ll either walk away with your limit or run out of shells.

Two afternoons of hunting included in a two night stay.

$1,500 / person for two afternoon hunts.

Included in Price: Food, Lodging, Drinks.

Not Included in Price: Coolers, Ammo, Tips, and Hunting licenses.

We have 3 lodges and do not mix different groups together or hunt different groups together. Each group will have its own cook, housekeeper, and guides.
